Our experts say

Sri Lanka is a great destination for a family holiday, with a superb selection of family-oriented hotels and lots for both kids and parents to do. Be as active or lazy as you like.

We recommend keeping a hotel on the south coast as your base, and doing a selection of days out – including whale watching by boat, helping baby turtles return to the sea, spotting wild elephants and exploring nearby markets. And of course, spend some quality time at the beach or by the pool.

This is just a suggested itinerary – get in touch to discuss what will work best for you.
