Revel in the sunshine with the great value Philippines trip

Beat the winter blues with a Philippines trip to see some of its most iconic natural and cultural sights.

This trip brings together everything we love about the Philippines — the rich culture, the wild beauty, and the island calm. It’s designed for people who like their adventures with a bit of contrast: mountain air and city streets, quiet moments and colourful markets, breezy beach days and deep cultural roots.

Nia, our Asia expert says:

"There’s no better way to beat the winter blues than by chasing the sun - and this trip is just the escape you need. Unwinding on white-sand beaches beneath swaying palms or exploring breathtaking rice terraces, it’s the ultimate getaway."

You’ll explore villages that feel like they belong to another time, where age-old traditions are still very much alive. We’ll take you to places shaped by both history and heart — rice terraces carved into mountainsides, colonial towns with crumbling churches, and communities where stories are passed down with pride.

But it’s not all go — there’s plenty of space to slow the pace too. From hidden coves and wildlife-rich reefs to wide-open beaches that seem made for doing nothing, the islands offer endless ways to unwind. Whether you're paddling across a glassy bay or watching the sun dip into the sea, it’s all about finding joy in the moment.

For us, this journey really captures the soul of the Philippines — generous, grounding, and full of surprises.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1-3 Banaue, Sagada & the Rice Terraces

Banaue Rice Terraces Luzon Philippines

Step into the highlands and into another rhythm of life. After a flight into the Philippines and a scenic drive into the mountains, you’ll reach Banaue — home to the legendary rice terraces carved by hand over 2,000 years ago. These are living landscapes, shaped by generations of Ifugao farmers, and you'll see them from dizzying viewpoints, along narrow trails, and up close in villages where tradition still thrives. From here, travel deeper into the Cordilleras, stopping in Bontoc to browse local museums, then on to Sagada, a town known for its limestone cliffs and mysterious hanging coffins. Nights are spent in simple, mountain lodges — a quiet counterpoint to the richness of what you'll see by day.

Day 4 Flight to Cebu

Sunrise Cebu Philippines

Swap misty mountains for island sunshine. Today, you’ll fly south to the island of Cebu and check in at a laid-back beach resort. After your travels through the highlands, this is a welcome change of pace — an evening to rest, recharge, and settle into the sea breeze.
