A lakeside camp on Lake Khövsgöl, where wooden lodge rooms, an A-Frame house and traditional gers stand among pine forest between two lakes.
Location: Double Lake by Toilogt sits on the shore of Lake Khövsgöl in northern Mongolia, roughly two hours by road from Mörön, the provincial capital. It takes its name from Lake Toilogt, a smaller lake immediately behind it, so guests wake up with water on two sides and pine forest all around.
Rooms: Guests can choose a room in the two-storey wooden lodge building, in Double, Twin or Family layouts, each with its own terrace and en suite shower room, a bedroom in the three-storey A-Frame house overlooking the lake, or a traditional ger.
Amenities: the on-site restaurant serves Mongolian and international dishes with all meals included. The camp also has guarded parking, a lounge, and courts for basketball and football.
Activities: Guests can paddle a kayak or canoe on Lake Khövsgöl, take a motorboat out across the water, ride out on horseback or set off on foot into the hills behind the camp. Winter brings its own ice festival, and a Tsaatan reindeer-herding community with nearby hot springs is within reach.
Sustainability: Double Lake by Toilogt does not publish a sustainability certification or policy. [Internal note: no sustainability practice or certification could be confirmed across the property’s Facebook page, its operator’s website or any other source checked for this draft. Confirm directly with the camp if this is needed for the listing.]
