Tarangire River Camp

At Tarangire River Camp waking up to the sounds of the bush and drawing open the curtains to be rewarded by incredible views of the Tarangire River is a daily occurrence. This is a traditional ‘under canvas’ camp but with the benefit of a pool, it is built on stilts and oozes class and comfort, you will always be assisted with the warm and welcoming smiles of the staff.

The rooms are well spaced out along the edge of a steep riverbank, allowing for extensive views and have viewing decks with patio chairs and table. Inside the room there is four-poster-beds, en-suite facilities, with flush toilets, hand basins and showers.

Game drives are arranged to suit your trip, be it a full day trip into the Tarangire National park, or an escorted walk around their own private areas. During the dry season you are able to watch the elephants in the river from the lodge balcony. A dip in the private pool with a nice cold local drink is a great way to finish a long day.
