Saruni Rhino

The Kenyan camp is located a two hours away from Samburu airstrip. Once landed, guests are met by a guide and driven to Saruni Rhino. Saruni Samburu (the sister lodge) is a little over an hour and a half drive away.

Saruni Rhino consists of three open banda (stone cottage’s) that sleep between two and four people (depending on the cottage). Each room has an en-suite bathroom and natural stone shower along with a flushing toilet. The rustic cottages are accompanied by a private veranda that overlooks the ‘lugga’ (the dry river bed) complete with a hammock for added relaxation. Along with the three bandas, the camp has a main cottage where guests will dine and relax.

The site has many activities for guests: day and night game drives, sun downers and on-foot rhino tracking just to highlight a few. There is also a beautiful infinity swimming pool, built in harmony with the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape where guests can relax after a day out.
