Warm hospitality and delicious wines
Finca Adalgisa is a charming, family-run boutique hotel and winery located in the heart of Mendoza’s renowned wine region, Chacras de Coria
Location
Tucked away in the leafy village of Chacras de Coria, just outside Mendoza, Finca Adalgisa is a small working vineyard with the soul of a family home. We love how peaceful it feels, surrounded by old Malbec vines, yet close enough to explore the heart of Argentina’s wine country with ease.
Rooms
There are just 11 rooms across the original 100-year-old farmhouse and a more contemporary stone wing, each thoughtfully styled with natural materials, warm tones, and a sense of calm. Some have wood-burning fireplaces, others private terraces, but all invite you to slow down. Guests love the personal touches - bookshelves, local art, and views of the vines or the garden that make it feel more like a friend’s estate than a hotel.
Amenities
You’ll find everything here flows at a gentle pace. Relax by the pool beneath the trees, sip the estate’s own Malbec in the cosy wine bar, or join a traditional asado under the stars. We love the little extras: tapas tastings at dusk, a library nook, and homegrown fruit picked straight from the orchard. There’s even an open kitchen where cooking classes are a relaxed, communal affair.
Activities
Whether you’re joining the harvest, cycling between wineries, or simply walking among the vines with a glass in hand, Finca Adalgisa invites you to experience Mendoza at your own rhythm. The team can organise visits to neighbouring estates, horse rides in the foothills, or rafting and hiking for the more adventurous.
Sustainability
This is a place with deep roots. The estate has been in the same family since 1916, and its conversion to a boutique wine lodge was all about preserving its heritage. Wine production here remains small-scale and personal, with just a few thousand bottles made each year for guests. Finca Adalgisa is also part of the Viña de la Solidaridad partnership, a community-led initiative that ensures just wages for local vineyard workers and supports health and education projects in the surrounding region.
