Meet Gemma
My ears always perked up whenever my father talked about the round-the-world travels he took in the sixties. Stories recounted of taking the hippie trail through Europe, Asia, Pakistan, India, and Southeast Asia, India and the Himalayas, stowing away on a ship - surviving on bananas for a week - left me eager to have my own adventures as soon as I was old enough.
Visiting Sri Lanka and traveling up the east coast of Australia were highlights as well as revisiting my home as a child in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Since joining Far & Wild, I’ve been fortunate enough to participate in the team's 'fam trip' to Zambia, my first time in Africa. It was an incredible experience that has left me craving more!
Sri Lanka Adventure
While traveling in Sri Lanka, I was involved in local projects rebuilding villages and communities devastated by the tsunami.

My Expertise
Studying Design & Marketing at university gave me a balance of creativity and marketing knowledge that has served me well, working in PR in London for several years and then in Manchester. I enjoy the creative aspects of marketing and especially content creation, which is what I've specialised in here at Far & Wild.
