Hog Hollow Country Lodge and Villa is located just east of the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay along the renowned Garden Route, set on the edge of the indigenous forest with impressive views of the surrounding Matjies River valley and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Hog Hollow isn’t overly luxurious; in fact, on first appearances, it seems fairly simple. However, it’s been very consistent in offering great, personal service and incredibly good food. It stands in some stunning scenery and we regard it as a lovely, comfortable retreat, offering outstanding value for money.

The sixteen suites are all situated in the gardens surrounding the main house. All suites have private decks, allowing you to sit out and enjoy the sounds of nature. At the centre of the Main House is the famous large dining table where guests can plan their daily activities over breakfast and share their memories with other guests over a candle lit dinner. The three-bedroom, double storey Villa is the perfect option for family groups, with its own infinity pool and wooden decks. The Villa is spacious and sunny, with stacks of authentic furniture and all the mod cons.

You will have the option of enjoying a relaxing stay around the pool at the lodge, or experiencing some fantastic local activities, on land or at sea. Situated 20km from the coast, you can easily access the great beaches, or take a boat trip with the dolphins. There are also many adrenaline activities and opportunities to see wildlife. All can be arranged through the hotel.
