Our Specialists Say:
Love chocolate and tropical islands? Then join 'Chocolat' author Joanne Harris on Principe between 3rd - 10th Sept 2019 for an incredible edible safari.
Blend together an award-winning chocolatier, a recently opened chocolate factory, and the author of the famous book Chocolat. Then add an impressive dose of palm trees, sandy beaches and equatorial sunshine, and what do you have? All the ingredients for a mouthwatering Chocolate Safari in one of the last remaining paradises on earth - the remote islands of Sao Tome and Principe.
Once the world's largest producers of chocolate, these hidden islands provide an intoxicating backdrop to this inventive culinary small group tour, where guests will be taken on a sensory journey by author Joanne Harris and chocolatier Daivd Greenwood-Haigh. Chocolate is centre stage on this trip with workshops, plantation visits and even massages, but there will also be plenty of time to explore the tropical forests, deserted beaches and rich cultural history of these incredible islands.
