For an exclusive, luxury safari experience, look no further: the 30,000ha privately owned Ongava conservancy is adjacent to southern Etosha National Park and among its high calibre properties is Little Ongava, a few minutes-walk away from its sister property, Ongava Lodge.
With just three plush and spacious suites, Little Ongava offers privacy, seclusion, an intimate ambience and personal service. Each of the suites – built on a hillside from where there are panoramic views over the conservancy – are built of stone and thatch and are comprised of a spacious bedroom, a lounge and large bathroom. Outside the bedroom is a private deck with pool. Excellent meals are served either in the restaurant or outside, depending on where guests prefer to dine.
A wooden walkway connects the suites to the main building, which has a stone fireplace and viewing deck. From here, guests can enjoy drinks while watching wildlife at the waterhole below. Activities include day and night game drives in open vehicles. (The former tend to head into Etosha NP while the latter are conducted in the conservancy).
